NetBramha Studios · Internal Sales CRM
NB Deals
A hierarchy-aware sales CRM that replaced a Pipedrive export nobody trusted. Every deal is visible only to its owner and the people above them in the reporting line — nobody sees a colleague's pipeline by accident, and nobody has to ask who owns what.

A pipeline everyone could see and
no one was accountable to
01
The working pipeline was a Pipedrive export refreshed by hand — stale the moment anyone touched a deal, and out of sync with whoever was actually working it.
02
One sheet, everyone's deals. Anyone with the link saw every rep's pipeline — no line between "my deals" and "the whole company's deals."
03
A deal could sit untouched for three weeks with no signal to anyone — no health flag, no owner nudge, until a manager happened to click in.
04
Reporting meant a fresh pivot table every time — no live win rate, no owner breakdown, no financial-year view without someone rebuilding it manually.
Import once. See only what's yours.
01
Import from Pipedrive
CSV import maps all real export columns, links organisations and deals in one pass, and never overwrites what's already there.
›
02
Resolve the owner
Every deal resolves to a real employee from the org chart. Unresolved deals are flagged, never silently assigned.
›
03
Work the board
Kanban across every stage, including Won and Lost. Bulk reassign, structured lost reasons, sortable everything.
›
04
Track activity
Logged activity feeds a health score automatically — Healthy, Attention, At Risk, or No Update, computed, not self-reported.

05
Review Insights
Owner and financial-year filters, AI pipeline digest, revenue forecast — all reading from the same visibility rules as the board.
Access follows the org chart — not a toggle someone could leave open

How it's computed
A breadth-first walk down each employee's managerEmail chain builds the exact set of owner emails a person may see — recomputed live, never hand-maintained.
No back doors
Every view — board, Activities, Insights, Historic Deals — reads from the same shared visibility function. Importing a deal you don't own no longer keeps it visible to you either.
Admin is per-email, not a password
Google sign-in alone resolves admin status. There is no second login path and nothing to configure per device.
1
Lead
First touch. No longer a separate Leads inbox — just the first stage of the same deal.
2 · 3
Contacted · Meeting
Active outreach and discovery, tracked with the same activity log throughout.
4 · 5
Proposal · Negotiation
Value and terms on the table. Stale-activity alerts get sharper from here on.
6
Won
Converted deals fold in visually here without losing their own status underneath.
7
Lost
Structured reason required — a dropdown plus optional free text, feeding the loss-reason breakdown.
8
On Hold
Paused, not closed. Stays visible on the board instead of disappearing from view.
Healthy
Recent activity, moving as expected
Attention
Activity logged, deal hasn't moved
At Risk
No touch in the expected window
No Update
Nothing logged since it entered the stage
Five decisions that came from real usage, not a spec
01
Visibility is structural, not a filter someone can ignore
A manager sees their team because the org chart says so — not because an "Owner: All" toggle happened to be off that day. Every screen shares one visibility function; there's no separate view that quietly shows more.
02
One pipeline, not two systems fighting each other
Leads and Deals used to be separate objects that drifted apart the moment one converted. "Lead" is now just the first stage of the one thing that exists — a deal.
03
Import that respects what's already there
CSV import is strictly additive — organisations and deals link in a single pass, duplicates get a per-row Skip/Import decision, and nothing that already exists can be silently overwritten.
04
A visibility bug got found and fixed in production
An early version let whoever imported a deal keep seeing it forever, regardless of who actually owned it. Flagged from real usage, verified with a scripted test, shipped the same day — the kind of gap a spec review wouldn't have caught.
05
Financial Year, not calendar year
Every FY filter — Deals, Activities, Insights — follows the Indian convention (April to March), because that's the year the business actually reports against.
1
Shared visibility function every view reads from
4
Health states, computed automatically per deal
58
Real Pipedrive export columns mapped exactly
0
Deals visible to anyone outside their owner's reporting line
Figures describe the system's design constraints, not a specific team's live dataset.
"I should only be able to see the deals where I am owner of — apart from Aashish, Dimple and design@netbramha." The rule a user stated plainly, and the one the visibility model now enforces exactly.
